Our spacious 18 foot yurts will sleep up to 4 in comfort [5 if three are small]. Inside we have made every effort to provide you with everything you need to enjoy a really luxurious holiday experience in sumptuous comfort. Each yurt has a king sized double bed with a real mattress, crisp cotton bed linen, topped with warm fleece throws. In addition, there are two single futon style chair beds that can easily be converted into beds for children and a blow up bed or travel cot for very small children. There is ample storage for your personal belongings and we also provide you with fluffy duvets, pillows and all the towels that you require, including beach towels. In fact, we will provide you with everything that you need to ensure a carefree holiday in the Cornish countryside.
Each yurt also has a glass fronted woodburning stove to add that extra warmth and keep the evening chill at bay.
Try to imagine yourself snugly tucked up in your bed with the light from the flames of the woodburner dancing on canvas of the yurt. When you are in bed night you can star gaze through the transparent roof dome.
Magical is the only word to describe it!
The yurts are situated in a two acre paddock on purpose built circular wooden platforms with a decked area outside each yurt where you can sit and relax, or where you can enjoy a meal. Each yurt has its own table and chairs that you can use inside or outside. Cooking is made easy in the ‘Cow Shed Kitchen’, our brand new communal kitchen area which you share with other guests at Little Fursdon. This former cow shed has been lovingly restored and now houses a modern, well equipped kitchen with gas appliances, dishwasher and spacious seating for everyone. The kitchen also has a comfy couch area where you can while away a few hours reading a book, having a quiet glass of wine or chatting with friends and family. If you book both yurts you will have exclusive use of the ‘Cow Shed Kitchen’. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your holiday. Outside the kitchen door is a large decked area with seating where you can sit and eat in good weather. However, in the event of rain, you can shut out the elements and sit inside in the warm and dry and watch the clouds scud by through the large glazed doors which look out over lush Cornish fields.
You will also have access to your own private shower and toilet room, with heated towel rail, which you will have exclusive use of during your stay. No one else will be using it, so you can leave all your toiletries and towels in there securely.
